This is another photo that I had taken on my way back from Cal. What you are seeing here at 35,000 feet is the tropopause, the layer between the troposphere (which is the lowest level of the atmosphere) and the stratosphere. Clouds do not cross into the tropopause. These are Stratocumulus clouds, carrying rains up north, and are currently nowhere to be seen over Delhi. I had gone to the airport again today morning and clicked a whole new bunch of shots, I'll post them all slowly.
